Branding is a traditional folk art for decorating wood. Originally, heated, glowing metal pins were used to burn patterns or images into the wood. Today, electrically heated branding sticks and stamps are used. Some artists can even create entire paintings using fire painting. Christian Bringold is one of these talented artists.
