For one alpine summer season, you can call a cow on the alp your own and take home the flavours of the alpine pastures in the form of a generous piece of alpine cheese. Discover life on the alp alongside a local farming family and gain a fascinating insight into living close to nature, the bond between people and animals, and a life without everyday luxuries. Life on the alp brings moments of great joy, sometimes solitude, and always plenty of hard work. The alpine farming family will give you a warm welcome and introduce you to your rented cow. Have you always dreamed of having your own cow on an alp? Here's your chance to make that dream come true!

A half-day visit to the alp includes:

• A certificate with a photo of your rented cow
• A morning visit to your cow in the pasture or stable
• A traditional Swiss morning snack with alpine products and fresh milk
• 5 kg of delicious alpine cheese (to be collected on site)

Additional visitors are welcome for a surcharge of CHF 20.– per adult and CHF 10.– per child up to 12 years of age.

A full-day visit with an overnight stay on the alp includes (in addition to the half-day experience):

• A full-day visit to your cow in the pasture or stable
• One overnight stay for one person
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner
• The opportunity to help with daily tasks on the alp on a voluntary basis

Additional visitors are welcome for a surcharge of CHF 70.– per adult and CHF 50.– per child up to 12 years of age, including meals and accommodation.
