Directly next to the panorama restaurant, a tunnel leads to the panorama viewing platform on the north face of the Stockhorn. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the town of Thun, Lake Thun, the Aare and Gürbe valleys, the Central Plateau as far as the Jura and, on clear days, as far as Alsace and the southern Black Forest. The fantastic panoramic view is a delight. The panoramic viewing platform is also easily accessible for people in wheelchairs or with walking difficulties and families with pushchairs. For guests who are particularly interested in geology, families and school classes, there are numerous information boards in the summit gallery and in the grotto by the platform. You can also marvel at a unique calcite crystal from the region.
