You can comfortably reach the starting point with the gondola from the Betelberg valley station to the Leiterli mountain station at almost 2000 m above sea level. Alternatively, you can also pedal up and manage the ascent under your own power. (Lenk - Aegerten - Rohrbühl - Raaslouene - Tschätte - Betelberg or via Pöschenried Goldere)

The start is at Leiterli mountain station. At the beginning, a wide track leads to Steinstoss, then it continues flowingly on the hiking trail before the ascent over the Gryden saps your strength. Once at the top, the view over the Saanenland is overwhelming. Caution is advised over the Gryden because the terrain through the crater landscape drops steeply on both sides. On days with many hikers, walking your bike is recommended. The route is again flowy to the Türli, from where a varied trail runs below the Wistätthore along the mountain flank to Rüwlisepass. In this section, the terrain goes up and down, very diverse, sometimes stony, sometimes flowy, and partly descending. The path has some technical key points and is not fully rideable. From Rüwlisepass, you first follow a paved road downhill to Bire, where the path turns left into the forest. The descent into the valley is another real single trail highlight with roots and technical passages, but also smooth curves down to St. Stephan.

The bike path is mostly flat on the way back to Lenk.
