The start of this winter hike is easily reached via the Stand-Xpress gondola lift to the Metsch middle station. The view of Lenk and the surrounding mountains is always excellent throughout the hike. To the south you can see the end of the Simmental valley, to the west the Betelberg ski area and to the north St. Stephan with the Spilgerten.

  • Directions

The Metsch - Hubel section is on a wide road, but there is hardly any traffic. From Hubel to the village of Lenk, the route runs along Bühlbergstrasse. The advantage of this is that there are many bus stops along the way, so the alternative of returning by bus is always an option.

  • During the winter season, there is one-way traffic on the Bühlbergstrasse: ascent: xx.45 to xx.15 / descent: xx.15 to xx.45. The bus also follows the one-way route.
