The Stand Xpress gondola comfortably reaches the starting point at the middle station. From there, follow the road on foot to the Snow Beach Lodge, where the route begins. With a magnificent view of the Wildstrubel massif, it goes over fields and along the edge of the forest to Guetfläck. Following the Movement Track signs, the path then leads past the ski lift over deeply snow-covered slopes up to the Metschstand.

Public Transport

By bus from Lenk station to the Stand-Xpress valley station and by gondola to the middle station.
Parking

Free parking is available at the valley station.

The route is signposted.
Safety Instructions

This ski tour follows the signposted Movement Track and is therefore the ideal ski tour for beginners. More marked routes can be found at Pörisgrat, or at the Jaun Pass on the Hundsrügg. To undertake further ski tours, knowledge in avalanche situation assessment or a mountain guide/snow sports instructor is mandatory to move safely in the mountains.
Equipment

As with every ski tour, an avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel, and crampons are part of the equipment.

At the Metschstand, you have earned your food in the hut.
