The tour starts in the village of Lenk and leads through the Seefluhwald forest to Pöschenried. The road continues along the Iffigbach stream to the natural spectacle of the Iffig Falls. The water plunges more than a hundred meters over several cascades into the depths. The power that can be felt is incredible. The plants around the waterfall are lush green. The drops of water on the meadow at the foot of the waterfall glisten as if countless tiny crystals had been scattered here by magic. The Iffigfall is part of the Gelten-Iffigen nature reserve and, with its natural stream, is one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in Switzerland. From here, the road winds steeply through the wooded mountainside until finally reaching the Iffig valley at 1,550 m above sea level. Mountains such as the Mittaghore are close enough to touch. After a leisurely break at Berghaus Iffigenalp, you return to Lenk along the road.

  • Public Transport

Lenk is accessible by train. SBB timetable.

  • There are public parking spaces in the village.

  • This tour is technically very easy and is mainly on asphalt roads. The road is steep in places, but this is not a problem with a little e-bike tailwind. There are no single trails on this tour.

Be sure to observe the times on the one-way road from Hubelmatte and stick to them on the ascent and descent. The bus also runs on the narrow road and must be crossed outside the one-way times, which is a challenge on this narrow road.

    Route no. 3 is signposted.
