In order to enjoy the view, a few stops must (or must not) be made on this trail running circular tour. From the starting point at the middle station of the 10-seater Metschstand gondola lift, the first panoramic view is worthwhile. From here, follow the hiking trail to the first stop, the Metschore. Here the view sweeps to the nearby and imposing Wildstrubel massif and the Plaine Morte plateau glacier. Behind this entire mountain range lies the Valais. Now it's time for a crisp ascent along the ridge to the Metschstand. Technique training for the ascent with poles and the mountain backdrop in the corner of your eye. The view at the highest point of the tour, the Metschstand, can be enjoyed once again before the path changes direction and leads to the next view, the Brenggen reservoir. There is a hint of the Caribbean here in the shimmering turquoise-blue water, yet the lake is framed by the Simmental mountains. Now it's time to descend the last few meters past farmed alpine pastures back to the middle station.

Please note the operating times of the Stand-Xpress Metsch gondola lift: Lenk Bergbahnen
