You can get to the starting point for the tour the easy way by taking the cable car up from the Betelberg valley station to the Leiterli top station. Alternatively you can hit the pedals and conquer the climb under your own steam. (Lenk - Aegerten - Rohrbühl - Raaslouene - Tschätte – Betelberg or via Pöschenried Goldere).

Start at the Leiterli top station. To begin with, a broad track leads to Steinstoss. From there, you follow a rough trail towards Betelbergmeder, as far as the Klopfenstein hut. Then you ride to "Ufem Läger", mainly on a wide gravel track so you can enjoy the views of flower-filled alpine meadows. This is where the flowiest trail in Lenk begins. Let your wheels spin and use your brakes sparingly. From Schönmoosbode until you cross the Pöschenried road, you'll need to brake a bit because of the steep corners and the tree roots. From here, the trail flows down easily along the right-hand side of the Iffigbach stream until you reach Engiweidli. Once you get down in the valley, you can relax and freewheel back into the village of Lenk.
