The tour starts at Lenk and leads along the cycle path on a mix of gravel and asphalt to Zweisimmen. Now head towards the Oesch side with steep sections on the Saanenmöser. The route leads down to Gstaad via Gruben, allowing you to avoid the main road for the most part. Now follows the longest ascent of the tour through the Turbachtal valley to the Rüwlispass. Again there are sections on gravel and asphalt and even a very easy singletrail that follows the Turpachbach stream. The last 400 m are steep again and the last section from Zwitzeregg to the pass is about 300 m along the hiking trail. The tough ascent is compensated by the enchanting view of the surrounding mountains of the Simmental and Saanenland. The descent to St. Stephan is very steep at the beginning, then well asphalted. Return to Lenk on the cycle path.
