    • Each person is responsible for route selection as well as assessing their own experience, performance capability, and alpine hazards during ascent and descent in alpine terrain.
    • Carefully plan each mountain route and adapt it to your own condition as well as the weather and season.
    • The weather can change rapidly in the mountains. Therefore, take appropriate clothing, enough provisions, and water. Turn back in time if the weather is uncertain.
    • Inform others about the route and, if possible, never go alone.
    • Walking on ski slopes is forbidden.
    • Be considerate to other hikers as well as plants and animals.
    • Observe warning signs indicating constant dangers in the riverbed and along the banks of watercourses below dams and water intakes.
