This tour usually starts at the Wildhornhütte and first follows the Wildhorn route to the Chilchligletscher. It continues over the Schnidejoch. This pass crossing into Valais was already used by Schnidi around 2800 BC, as evidenced by various finds such as arrowheads and bow cases from this period. As a reward for the ascent, the descent past Lac de Téné to Rawil can be enjoyed to the full. Now it's another 300 m to the Wildstrubelhütte SAC.

The first Wildstrubelhütte was built in 1902 on a small plateau southwest of the Weisshorn. Today there are a total of 3 houses. The almost infinite views of the Bernese and Valais Alps and the fantastic sunsets will certainly remain in your memory for a long time.

After a hopefully restful night in the hut, the day starts with a descent back to Rawil. Via the Plan des Roses, you climb up to the summit of the Schnidehore amidst alpine scenery. The view of the Wildhore and the surrounding mountains is most beautiful from here. Over beautiful slopes you head downhill towards the Wildhornhütte.
