Simmenfälle - Flueseeli

HIKING TRAIL
GPX
  • Difficulty moderate
  • Duration 2:50 h
  • Distance 4,8 km
  • 944 m
  • 5 m

From the Simmenfälle restaurant, it goes along an alpine road to the Siebenbrunnen, the source of the Simme. At the foot of the mighty limestone wall, the Simme emerges foaming white. Here a small refreshment is worth it, because now it gets steep. On a partly exposed mountain path (certain sections secured with ropes), accompanied by the roaring of waterfalls, it goes steeply uphill to the Flueseeli, which lies at 2,045 m above sea level. Coming from below, one can hardly imagine that such an open area with a mountain lake appears again. The lake lies amid towering rock walls to the south and offers an open, excellent view to the north over Lenk.

Either the route continues from here to the Wildstrubel or one goes further over the Tierbergsattel or returns back the same way.
