Without an e-bike, the climb to Dürrewald is a tough challenge. With support, it is somewhat easier to go up the steep paved road. In summer, the alpine pastures in Dürrewald are managed, and when autumn arrives and the cows move back to the valley, the vegetation turns brightly colored. The short ride from Dürrewald to Eggmatte is worth it for the wonderful views of the Spillgerte, the Albristhorn, and the Lenker mountains. The return is along the same path down to the valley.
