HIKING TRAIL

closed
  • Difficulty moderate
  • Duration 2:15 h
  • Distance 6,4 km
  • 368 m
  • 368 m

The hike starts at Erlenbach train station. The first part of the path leads straight through the houses to the edge of the village, where the ascent to the Allmenden farm begins. The small village of Allmenden is also crossed until you reach the Allmenden forest, where the steep climb to the viewing platform starts. At the top, the view of the waterfall compensates for the climbed altitude. On the way down, the bubbling brook is crossed on a bridge. The route passes by Allmenden again, on the terrace above Erlenbach to the Thal farm. After leaving the houses behind, the hiking trail soon leads cross-country back to the village of Erlenbach, where on the last stretch you pass the valley museum Agensteinhaus.
