The route starts in Kandersteg at the foot of the majestic Bernese Alps and immediately begins with the long climb to the Bunderschrinde, one of the wildest and most impressive sections of the region. From there, the course descends to Adelboden before continuing over the famous Chuenisbärgli and the Hahnenmoos Pass towards Lenk. Via Iffigenalp, the route climbs further to the Rawil Pass, reaching high-alpine terrain with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

After crossing the pass, the trail follows the shores of Lake Tseuzier and the impressive Ro-Bisse irrigation channel before eventually finishing in Crans-Montana. Throughout the route, runnable panoramic trails alternate with technical mountain paths, steep ascents, and long descents. The course offers ideal conditions for training alpine endurance, elevation gain, and technical trail-running skills in a demanding mountain environment.

  • Kandersteg – Bunderschrinde – Adelboden – Chuenisbärgli – Hahnenmoospass – Lenk – Iffigenalp – Rawilpass – Tseuzier-Stausee – Ro-Bisse – Crans-Montana

  • The route passes through sections of high-alpine terrain and requires an excellent level of fitness, sure-footedness, and experience in mountainous environments. Rapid weather changes, fog, strong winds, or snowfields can occur even in late summer and may quickly alter trail conditions. Technical descents and long stretches above 2,000 meters should not be underestimated. Checking the latest weather forecast and carrying appropriate equipment is strongly recommended.

Even officially open hiking trails may still be partially covered with snow. Participation and route use are entirely at your own risk. Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg Tourism accepts no liability for the use of local routes.
