Bergrestaurant Bühlberg by Lenkerhof
Stylish, modern, chic – and yet still very rustic and down-to-earth, the Bühlberg presents itself. At "Lenk's most beautiful sun terrace" at an altitude of 1,664 meters, hikers, walkers, cyclists, and mountain bikers are as well catered for as skiers and snowboarders. Children also get their money's worth, as a large playground right outside the door invites them to let off steam.
Both in summer and winter, the inn serves authentic Swiss dishes with a modern touch, the best cheese and milk directly from the alpine pasture. Of course, the classics of a mountain inn are also not to be missed – because those who make the one to one and a half hour journey on foot or by mountain bike often simply crave a good portion of Rösti.
But it's not just athletes who benefit from the fact that the Lenkerhof operates the Bühlberg. Many paths lead up the mountain: A large parking lot and a regular bus service also allow parents with strollers, people in wheelchairs, or those who do not want to tackle the strenuous uphill journey to choose the easy way up. From there, a truly breathtaking view over Wildstrubel, Wildhorn, and the Plaine Morte awaits.
For guests with mobility impairments, the Bühlberg is particularly accessible: The ground-level access, the generous space design, as well as the wheelchair-accessible toilet of the restaurant and the availability of public transport make the visit pleasant and straightforward.
