In the middle of green, lush pastures of the Obersimmental lies our "pasture " Gsess at 1300 m.a.s.l. In the nature you can enjoy the view over the Obersimmental.

In the Weidehütte is space for up to max. 7 people. You will not find any frills that are not needed. What you will find is peace and quiet, time to relax. The view invites you to philosophize.
We wish you a lot of fantasy (because it is one of the most important things in life!) and a lot of time to dream. (Because that is at least as important!)

  • Travel arrangements

    Arrival: 4.00 p.m. / Departure: 10.00 a.m.

    Alpine hut about 3 km above Zweisimmen, simply and tastefully furnished. The beautiful hiking area of Gestelen, Stierenberg, and Seebergsee is nearby, as well as the opportunity for llama and goat trekking.

    During your stay, you will receive a SIMMENTAL CARD.

    Overnight guests in the Lenk-Simmental holiday region can travel for free on public transport with a valid guest card. You can find out more about the additional benefits and discounts under SIMMENTAL CARD (see section Your Simmental Card Discounts).


    The Simmental Card will be provided by your host. Please inform them of your personal details such as your address and email, as well as the name, first name, and date of birth of all accompanying persons before your holiday stay.
