The restaurant and hotel at the top of the Niesen was built in 1856, 50 years before the funicular. In 2002 was the opening of the clear-cut, geometrically-designed and transparent restaurant pavillon to the public. The modern, functional architecture catches the eye and stands in contrast to the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains. Discover and enjoy the special atmosphere of the Niesen Restaurant/Hotel, its good food and fantastic alpine panorama. Ten cosy double rooms with Swiss quality Hüsler-Nest-Beds, shared shower and toilet facilities and one double room with shower and toilet in the room afford attractive overnight accommodation.
