In early summer 2010, we opened the year-round "Camping Arnist" site with 30 tourist and 30 residential pitches on the sun terrace of Oberwil im Simmental. In addition to the modern (and disabled-friendly) sanitary facilities, the site also has a bistro and a small grocery shop. The campsite with its incomparable view is in a very quiet location and yet only 500 m from the village centre of Oberwil. We are delighted that our campsite has been officially awarded 4 stars.
Oberwil im Simmental offers something for every campsite visitor, be it jogging and walking in the wonderful natural surroundings or river rafting on the Simme. The campsite is also ideal for canoeists, as it is only a few minutes' walk from the Simme. For camping enthusiasts who want to relax and appreciate peace and quiet, Camping Arnist is ideally located away from the traffic and yet only 500 metres from the village centre. In winter, the family-friendly and inexpensive Rossberg ski area is located on site; the Adelboden-Lenk and Gstaad Mountain Rides ski regions can be reached quickly by train and car.
