Work & Bike'n'Hike Week

After three editions of the Work & Bike`n`Hike Week, the successful event is now entering its fourth round. The week organised by the municipality of Lenk, the Adelboden-Lenk mountain railways and Lenk-Simmental Tourism will now take place in Lenk in September.

True to the motto "zäme underWÄGe", we are looking for motivated hikers and mountain bikers who are interested in natural and sustainable trail building and would like to make their contribution to a well-maintained trail network in Lenk. Once again this year, the trail-building professionals from Vast Trails will provide professional guidance and will be happy to share their tips and tricks for user-friendly and low-maintenance trail building. You will learn the basic techniques of trail building and can put them into practice directly on a section of trail.

The shovelling and picking should also be rewarded: Half the time you will be busy building trails, while the other half of the day you can enjoy the region as holiday guests and have fun on the many trails and enjoy the great scenery of the Lenk-Simmental region. The reward is a free overnight stay including half board. To round off the week in a cosy atmosphere, we invite all participants to a barbecue together on Thursday evening at Lake Lenk. Participants will also receive mountain railway tickets for the whole week (Mon-Fri) and admission to the Wallbach adventure pool.
