2-Tagestour: Iffigenalp - Wildstrubelhütte SAC - Simmenfälle

Day 1: Take the bus to the starting point on the Iffigenalp. The adventure begins here. The mountain trail winds its way along a historic mule track through the impressive rock face towards the Rawil Pass. Even on the ascent, a swirling waterfall refreshes the senses. The Rawilseeleni in the barren stone landscape, surrounded by majestic peaks, are a highlight. This is the perfect spot for a picnic and a refreshing break - for those who dare to dip their feet in the ice-cold mountain water. And now only 300 meters in altitude to go and the day's destination is reached. Overnight stay: kitschy sunset with a hut feeling Spend the night in the Wildstrubelhütte at an impressive 2,800 m above sea level. As the sun sets behind the mountain peaks, the sky is bathed in picturesque colors while the starry sky slowly begins to twinkle. Enjoy local delicacies and swap adventure stories with like-minded people - an opportunity to share the unforgettable experiences of the day and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the mountains together.

Day 2: On the second day, the route leads over the Tierbergsattel through the wild and rocky Tierberg valley, down to the rushing glacier stream. As you hike through the valley, the view of Lenk's local mountain, the Wildstrubel, is your constant companion. To the left above the hiking trail, above the scree slope, is the Tierberg cave, where hunters sought refuge as early as 1800 BC. The stream originates from the Plaine-Morte glacier a little higher up. The highlight of this day is the picturesque Flueseeli, idyllically nestled on an inconspicuous plateau with the best view of Lenk. The descent to the Rezliberg is steep and exposed, so concentration is required here. Once you reach the Rezliberg, you will see the Siebenbrunnen on the left-hand side, an impressive wide waterfall from the rock. These seven springs form the source of the Simme and are a wonderful place of power. But the hike is not over yet - the descent to the Simmen Falls is still to come. The spraying water accompanies you back down into the valley, where you make your way home with tired legs, but certainly grateful for the time spent in nature. A bus takes you from the Simmen Falls to Lenk railroad station.

Take the opportunity to swim in one of the clear mountain lakes during your hike to refresh body and soul.
