The starting point of the route is most comfortably reached by taking the Betelberg gondola to the Leiterli mountain station. Alternatively, the ascent can be pedaled under your own power. (Lenk - Aegerten - Rohrbühl - Raaslouene - Tschätte – Betelberg or via Pöschenried Goldere)
From the mountain station, a wide forest road passes the reservoir lake leading to Steinstoos. The view of the Lenker mountains with the Wildstrubel massif is spectacular. From here a short singletrail leads along the ridge to Aebi. A mountain road follows downhill to the start of the flowiest trail in Lenk, through Summerwald. At the start, the rock walls of Iffighore seem within reach. At first almost flat, then increasingly steeper, the path winds through the forest. The further down you go, the tighter the turns become and increasingly more root passages appear. Once the "mountain road" is reached, the technical trail branches off to the left. If the trail was too difficult to ride so far, it is better to take this part down the mountain road. For all technically skilled, the trail goes over stones and roots down to the Chimbachbrügg.
This is followed by a short stretch of paved road to Hubelmatte, near the 100m high Iffigfall. A mix of singletrails and roads leads down to the valley floor, with the last part requiring good riding skills once again.
