The Stand-Xpress cable car takes you comfortably to the starting point of the hike to the Metschstand at 2100 m above sea level. With the impressive Wildstrubel massif in view, the Metschstand mountain restaurant is the perfect place to start the tour with a coffee. The hike to Luegli starts at a leisurely pace. Here the view opens up into the Bütschi side valley, which you hike through before reaching the Höchsthore via the Troneggrat ridge. Now take the chairlift from Höchst down to the Bergläger and then take the gondola lift back up to the Sillerebüel mountain station on the other side. Here you can stop off again at the Sillerenbühl restaurant.

At Sillerebüel, take the route to the Hahnenmoospass via the panoramic high-level trail. In summer, the area around the Hahnenmoospass is a mecca for model gliders. If you want to sit on a sun terrace again, you can do so at the Berghotel Hahnenmoos. The last section of the hike leads past the shimmering turquoise Brenggen reservoir back to the Metschstand mountain station.
