This tour starts at the Simmen Falls. Most hikers are drawn from here to the Sibe Brünne. But it also goes through the lesser known and less frequented Ammertetäli to the Ammerten Pass. A wild and romantic valley with the river and the rather barren landscape. In summer, you may come across sheep spending their alpine summer up there. At the bottom of the valley, the route climbs through stony terrain up to the Ammerten Pass. On the pass, the view opens up onto the wide plain of Engstligenalp and the destination is already in sight. You can reach Adelboden from Engstligenalp by cable car and bus.
