Without an e-bike, the climb up to Dürrewald is a tough one. With assistance, it is a little easier up the steep asphalt road. In summer, the alps in Dürrewald are farmed and when autumn arrives and the cows return to the valley, the vegetation becomes brightly colored. The short onward journey from Dürrewald to Eggmatte is worthwhile for the wonderful view of the Spillgerte, the Albristhorn and the Lenk mountains. Return along the same route down into the valley.
