The short circular route leads around the Jaun Pass and is illuminated on some evenings. The path runs gently through the winter landscape, with small ups and downs, over open terrain and short forest sections. Individual trees, short forest sections and small clearings provide variety and a quiet, atmospheric mood. The route is prepared and well signposted.

  • Approach

    Access to Boltigen via Thun – Wimmis. Follow the junction to the Jaun Pass in Boltigen/Reidenbach.

    Access from Bulle via Charmey – Jaun to the Jaun Pass.

  • By train to Boltigen, then bus connection to the Jaun Pass. Check the timetable at the SBB.

  • There is a large parking lot at the Jaun Pass (paid).

  • Jaun Pass parking lot – Baragge Beizli – Schüpfhubel – Camping – Jaun Pass
