From the station, follow the signpost towards Oeschinensee. Through the shady Grünewald, ascend to the world-famous Oeschinensee. The 60 m deep lake was formed by a rockslide from the Doldenhorn. The debris masses dammed its waters. Its outflow is underground and emerges at the Öschibach. Full of wild beauty is the ascent from the lake through the rock terraces to the Underbärgli. Ascending a bit more steeply, you reach the Oberbärgli via alpine pastures and between rock bands. Over the elongated lateral moraine of the Blümlisalp glacier, you climb into the scree slopes on the southern slope of the Schwarzhorn. With every step, the view of the crevices and glaciers of the mountain giants becomes more comprehensive. Suddenly, you stand at the pass height of the Hohtürli. The Blümlisalphütte SAC, where overnight stays, simple meals, and drinks are offered, is located about 60 m higher up. Very close by, the dazzling white peaks of the Blümlisalp massif rise. When descending to the Kiental side, caution is advised! Along a long rock band, the mountain path winds steeply down to the Oberi Bundalp. Further over the Underi Bundalp, a wide alpine path leads through forest and pasture to Hotel Griesalp and the PostBus stop.
