Langermatte

From Lenk in the direction of Iffigenalp to the Hubelmatte parking lot. The tour leads to the Simmen Falls, so it makes more sense to travel by bus or cab.

Take the bus from Lenk station to Alpenrösli. Very limited departure times. Timetable: SBB

From Alpenrösli, walk along the road into the valley for 15 minutes to Hubelmatte.

There are almost no parking spaces at Hubelmatte in winter. A cab from Lenk or the bus to Alpenrösli is preferable.

This snowshoe tour is not signposted!

For snowshoe tours, the appropriate equipment and the necessary specialist knowledge (avalanche awareness, alpine skills) are mandatory! If you have no experience in assessing the avalanche situation in open terrain, it is better to go on a snowshoe tour with a trained snow sports instructor or mountain guide.

As with any snowshoe tour, an avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel are part of the equipment.
