After a flat warm-up ride to the Simmenfälle, the steep climb to Rezliberg begins. Once at the top, a short detour to the Siebenbrunnen, the seven sources of the Simme, is worthwhile. After a short break on a only slightly ascending road, the steep climb to Langermatte really gets going. Only the fittest bikers manage the entire climb on this ramp. It's nice that there are e-bikes to make the ascent easier. In summer, the alp hut on Langermatte provides a hearty snack with a unique view of the Wildstrubel.
The descent is conquered on a rough alpine road with partly loose stones. Once the Ritzdole, above the Iffigfall, is reached, the road improves and promises a final highlight with the more than 100 m high Iffigfall, before rolling back relaxed on asphalt roads to the village of Lenk.
The route is consistently easy to ride and ideal for everyone who prefers to travel on wide paths – there are no single trails.
