The hike leads alternately through the forest and over open terrain. The pastures on the Metsch are farmed by alpine inns in summer and you may well be able to buy locally produced alpine cheese from one of them. The Bühlberg is known as Lenk's sun terrace, and the sunsets are particularly magnificent. The terrace of the Bühlberg restaurant invites you to take a break.

The bus takes you from the village to the valley station of the Stand-Xpress (Metschbahnen stop) or you can walk this section. A bus runs from Bühlberg down to the village.

Note the operating times of the Stand-Xpress: Lenk mountain railroads
