The ascent to the unnamed Gubi pass on the topographic map (magnificent view of the Rinderberg and the Saanen mountain world!) leads to the highest point of the hike (2060 m) on the broad ridge of the Fromattgrat. Before the last pass into the innermost Diemtigtal, you are required to briefly descend to the highest hut of the Alp Fromatt. Following the Fromattgrat ridge eastward, you immediately reach the Scheidegg saddle at the foot of the mighty rock spires of the Spillgerte group. Below the cliff row from the Fromattgrat to the Seehore, you then follow a good path through the flowery high valley down to the pastureland of the Alpetli. From the hut, a forest road winds down to the Senggibach stream in the valley floor (shortcuts are available). Passing the Blauseeli, you reach the destination, the post bus stop Schwenden (return route to Zwischenflüh 1h).
