This winter hiking trail can be walked in both directions, or combined with the valley hiking trail on the west side of the Simme as a circular hike. From the Simmenfälle restaurant, the trail leads across the snow-covered valley floor back to Lenk. The trail can only be groomed if there is enough snow.

    From Wimmis through the Simmental to Lenk

  • Take the train from Zweisimmen to Lenk. There is also a bus to the Simmenfälle restaurant.

  • Various parking spaces in the center of the village of Lenk

  • The trail from the Simmenfälle restaurant to the Metschbahn cable car is a continuous stretch of prepared snow on meadows. The composition of the trail can therefore vary depending on the snow and temperature.
