The natural path leads near the Simme out of the village, downstream. At Schadauli it goes into the forest. Here begins the challenging ascent of 250 meters of elevation over one kilometer. At the highest point, it descends again into the valley via "Stutz", the local place name. And as the place name suggests, the descent is also short and steep. Down at the Simme, the natural path leads upstream back towards the village.

  • Approach

    From Bern take the motorway to Latterbach, then take the junction into the Simmental. In Zweisimmen at the roundabout head towards Lenk.

    From Fribourg over the Jaun Pass into the Simmental.

  • Take the train to Lenk. Timetable on SBB. Continue on foot from the station.

  • In summer, free parking spaces are available in the village of Lenk.
