This circular route starts on the cycle path from Zweisimmen through the Simmental to Oey-Diemtigen. The first 27 km are mostly flat and perfect to warm up your legs. The path runs on one side of the valley through forests, pastures, and beautiful Simmental houses. It continues through the Diemtigtal, steadily climbing gently up to Zwischenflüh. From here, a paved road leads partly steeply uphill to Lake Seeberg. This beautiful mountain lake is located at 1,831 m above sea level in the Spillgerten nature reserve and is a natural beauty. The well-deserved break after the long ascent is best taken at the mountain restaurant Seebergsee, which is located shortly before the lake. From the lake, the same road goes briefly downhill before a final ascent under the rocks of Niderhore leads to the Gestelen Pass. From the pass, you descend rapidly on a paved road (briefly gravel) into the valley to Grubenwald and from there back to Zweisimmen.

This route involves no technical difficulties but is quite demanding in terms of fitness.
