This circular tour starts on the cycle path from Zweisimmen through the Simmental to Oey-Diemtigen. These first 27 km are mostly flat and perfect for breaking in the legs. The route runs along one side of the valley through forests, pastures and past beautiful Simmental houses. The route continues through the Diemtigtal valley, with a gentle ascent to Zwischenflüh. From here, a tarmac road leads uphill, steeply in places, to the Seebergsee lake. This beautiful mountain lake lies at 1,831 m above sea level in the Spillgerten nature reserve and is a natural beauty. The best place to take a well-earned break after the long ascent is the Seebergsee mountain restaurant, which is located just before the lake. From the lake, take the same road for a short descent before a final ascent under the rocks of the Niderhores leads to the Gestelen Pass. From the pass, you ride quickly down into the valley to Grubenwald on an asphalt road (briefly gravel) and from there back to Zweisimmen.

This tour does not present any technical difficulties, but is quite demanding in terms of fitness.
