Lenk

Probably the most beautiful valley end in the Alps

At the top of the Simmental, at the foot of the Wildstrubel, lies the village of Lenk at 1,068 meters above sea level.

In summer, Lenk offers delightful pass hikes, exhilarating high-altitude tours, blooming alpine meadows, rushing waterfalls and crystal-clear mountain lakes. A hiking paradise for families and nature lovers!

In winter, the famous Adelboden-Lenk ski region and the associated Betelberg ski area await you, where families feel particularly at home. Those looking for peace and quiet will find it on long walks or cross-country skiing.

Why Lenk?

Lenk is etymologically derived from the transformation of "An der langen Egg", "lange Ecke", "Die Langeck", contracted "Die Läng'k", French "la Lenk". Hence "an der Lenk"!
