With the 10-person Stand-Xpress gondola cable car, you can effortlessly get up to 2100 m above sea level at Metschstand. The route first leads towards Guetfläck. On the ridge, the view of the Wildstrubel massif is breathtaking. Steepness dominates the first trail. Combined with tight hairpin bends and rocky passages, it offers a challenge. After a moderately rather flowing section, the Brenden Trail is also a worthwhile challenge for experienced bikers.

  • Approach

    Zweisimmen roundabout towards Lenk. In Lenk at the roundabout, go straight towards Simmenfälle. On the way you will find the valley station of the Stand-Xpress on the left side.

  • By train to Lenk. Upon arrival in Lenk, take the bus to the "Talstation Rothenbach" stop. Then a mountain ride with the Stand-Xpress gondola cable car for about 15 minutes.

  • Metschstand – Metschhorn – Obere Rüttiweid – Sumpf – Rothenbach (valley station Stand-Xpress) – Lenk village

  • The route runs over hiking trails. With the Trail Knigge, hikers and bikers travel together here with respect and tolerance.

  • Rental of bikes and accessories at the Bergluft Bike Shop.
