The tour starts with a 900-metre ascent, first on a tarmac road up to Metsch, then on gravel and alpine roads to Guetfläck. The view of the end of the Simmental valley becomes increasingly impressive as you climb higher and higher. The panorama becomes truly spectacular when you take on the single trail to Wengibärgli. The Wildstrubel and the Ammertehore seem close enough to touch. The trail winds its way through the terrain up to Alp Wengibärgli. This singletrail section is easy to ride for experienced bikers, but the path is narrow and exposed at the start. It is advisable to push the bike briefly here. This is the most difficult section of the tour in terms of riding technique. The descent to the Rezliberg is rapid on an alpine road. Near the Siebenbrunnen, the source of the Simme, the second ascent of the tour awaits on the Langermatte. The steep ascent of around 450 m is quite a challenge, but is rewarded with a unique view towards Iffighore and Betelberg. After a rest in the mountain restaurant, the descent follows on a rough alpine road until you reach the well-maintained Iffigstrasse at Ritzdole, which leads through Pöschenried down to Lenk.
