From Allmenalp cable car base station head across the Alpine meadows and take in the fabulous view of the Blüemlisalp mountains. The slightly steep route leads to First summit. Now you can enjoy the amazing view of Oeschinensee.The descent is via Stand, the Golitsche Pass and to Alp Golitsche. At the summit the route continues past rocky sections and on a narrow path for the descent. This descent is only suitable for experienced walkers with good trekking shoes and safe step.

  • Approach

    By car via Frutigen or by car train from Goppenstein to Kandersteg.

  • Arrival at Kandersteg railway station

    The Lötschberg to the south, the Kandertal to the north: this railway station between Brig (38 min.) and Berne (61 min.) runs every hour - an ideal base for many excursions.

    15 minutes' walk to the valley station of the Allmenalp cable car.
